Welcome Message
Greeting from the Chairperson
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I would like to welcome all of you to Nara, Japan for the highly anticipated congress, XXV World Congress International Society for Heart Research (ISHR2025 NARA) on May 11th to 14th, 2025.
The XXV World Congress of the ISHR will invite many distinguished speakers internationally, providing a platform for basic and clinical scientists to present their new findings and technical advancement. We hope that all delegates can benefit through a fruitful exchange of views and networking to promote global cardiovascular health.
The congress location, Nara, is vibrant with rich culture and attractions that we hope you can experience. Surrounded by several world heritage sites including the oldest wooden building in the world, this world congress will be a unique environment. We also encourage you to take advantage of this perfect timing to attend the famous Aoi Matsuri, or Hollyhock festival which will take place in Kyoto a day after the congress. Five hundred people will walk in a parade from the Kyoto Imperial Palace to Kamo Shrine, dressed in the costumes of the nobility of 1,400 years ago. EXPO2025 will also be held in Osaka where you can enjoy the future of the world.
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to share in the success of the 2025 World Congress in Nara, Japan.
Issei Komuro, MD, PhD.
